All kidding aside, I agree. AEW's roster is getting bloated with too many ex-WWE guys. A lot of their homegrown talent will take a backseat.

From am outsider looking in some of their signings were quality like Ambrose, Jericho, Rhodes, Rusev, it seems there still a lot of upside to the guys.

There's questionable ones though like Christian, Big Show, Mark Henry, Sting, I have no doubt those guys bring a wealth of knowledge backstage and tbh I don't know how prominent their roles are on TV but it doesn't look great when you see those names in the headlines.

Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have no downside to been signed though.

All these signings could stifle the growth of MJF, Hangman, Darby and Jungle Boy but then those are the only younger stars AEW are truly interested in anyway.

Eh, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not going to hold other promotions accountable for WWE hosting the most talented roster they've ever had and not having a clue what to do with it.

I know where you're going there, but Lance Archer was in WWE from 2009-2010 so he actually did have a WWE run that didn't really work out. He's a totally different performer now but he actually had a WWE run.
