Wait a minute... WWE says they own the actual NAMES of their performers and are stopping them from profiting off of them? And then still have the balls to label them as independent contractors?

I mean, that's a little bit better than the original report I read which stated, "McMahon held a call where he told stars that the WWE "owns the real names of talent, not just their character names." Imagine being told someone literally owns your name and can do whatever they want with it.

Either way, still a gutless move considering a lot of these guys make a decent secondary income from third party sites. Will be interesting to see the blowback. If you want to do this shit, make your damn employees actual employees.
