I don't recall Miz been told he wouldn't cash in successfully by anyone or anything along those lines. The guy was 1-1 with MITB cash-ins at that point so he had a 50/50 chance.

Taking advice off a legend would kill his credibility but get destroyed by Lashley after running away from his the last 2 weeks doesn't?

Miz didn't even need to speak to Edge. He could have recalled on his own experience.

Literally everyone thought Miz was a joke up until last Sunday. So yes, people thought low enough of him that he would fail.

Miz as WWE Champion was thought of as a master strategist. Or better yet.... the Ultimate Opportunist. Why? because he (of his own accord) struck at the best time, seizing the opportunity. he didn't have to have someone else say "oh you should cash in at this time" and follow up. Doing that would be detrimental to his character.

And running from Lashley doesn't ruin his credibility. He had a plan (get Drew and Lashley to go after each other during their title matches). The plan failed, and he got his ass kicked by the biggest Ass-Kicker in WWE.

It was incredibly grueling for Shayna Baszler last year.... She didn't even break a sweat. Go back and watch that match and tell me that a Money In The Bank winner should have cashed in on her (if she was Champion).

You cannot be sure that someone would be in a weakened state coming out of the match. Yeah the chances are good that they'll be weakened, but if you goad someone into beating the crap out of the guy right before you, you can be guaranteed of that. So Miz did that, because he's SMART.

So how is Miz promising an aas kicking unstoppable monster a title shot a great strategy? It's really not.

As genius strategy from The Miz would have been to run down with chair and beat the shit out of Drew.

Drew was in a chamber with 5 former champions. There's no way he was coming out of that unscathed.

The Miz made the worst choice of his career by promising Lashkey what he did and he looks more ridiculous than ever to me.

Kenny is either gonna hold 3 World Championships.

OR, does Impact Hall of Famer Sting (or Impact Legend Christian) prevent that and start feuding with him...

Kenny Omega might just be the most overrated wrestler of all time, or at the very least, in modern times.

Fine in the ring, but he always struck me as the kind of person who should have a career like Heath Slater, or at the very most, Eric Young. Definitely not a main event talent, and not believable as a main event heel.

You're spot on by the way. Now that Cody's (and Hangman) are no longer with The Elite, Kenny is the best, and is nothing special.

I don?t know if I?d rate him as low as Slater or Young, but he certainly doesn?t deserve the praise he?s gotten in the past. His run as heel champ has been short so far, but it already feels like a flop.
