Not trying to be pedantic, but Lesnar vs Punk is my favorite Punk match. It's severely underrated.
Fantastic match as well.
Point I was more alluding to was how when thereĆ¢??s pairings like Styles vs Owens, Punk vs Bryan etc. match ups that look great on paper but the matches themselves never amount to anything other than a solid B showing and are pretty much forgotten about not long after they happen.
Meanwhile you throw those guys against people like Cena or Lesnar and they are damn near or are classics.
Punk vs Lesnar was amazing, as was the main event between Bryan and Cena. And I'm angry at both those matches because SummerSlam 13 also had Christian's best singles match as a babyface but no one will ever remember it. Severely underappreciated del Rio vs Christian demands revisiting.
And on that subject, Swagger vs Big E at Elimination Chamber 14 is another gem buried under a fantastic card; Chamber match and Wyatts vs SHIELD.
AEW didn't even get a single viewer this week. Who knew the company would die this soon?
I won't miss it.
I'm starting to believe that Brock Lesnar is the catalyst for the next step in human evolution. For one, the guy doesn't even look particularly human. He looks like some sort of jacked-up, albino alien. Also, nature seemed to have gifted him with the genetic ability to battle a gorilla in hand-to-hand combat from the time he was basically a toddler. Seriously though, I can't remember seeing somebody as genetically gifted as Brock Lesnar.
Impact would have more disposable income if they didn't redesign their title belts so often.
