I am still annoyed that Alex Shelley didn't get a good singles run in either TNA or NJPW. I like Chris Sabin but Alex Shelley would have made for a better TNA world champion. And I'm still annoyed Shelley didn't get a run with the IWGP junior title

I was always a Sabin guy myself, at least when he won the World title. I thought he was much more rounded than Shelley and the obvious star of the team. I'll say that Shelley's work has been much better than Sabin's over the last few years though. He probably could have had a decent singles run during his time with Kushida, as he was pretty over.

Sabin was probably better in-ring wise before his knees gave out but I always thought Shelley was the better talker and had a better presence. I kind of get that they didn't give Shelley the Junior title in NJPW because Devitt and Bullet Club were white hot but he could have been a solid foil to them and win it at least once.

I saw a flashback on Impact's Facebook and Sami Callihan has gained a noticeable amount of weight. Has he got some injury he's dealing with or has lockdown just got to him?
