Monday Night Football was up 9% overall (the only increase in the NFL all week)
MNF last week: 2.45 18-49, 1.86 18-34, 11.36 overall.
MNF this week: 3.57 18-49, 2.63 18-34, 12.42 overall.
The product being down obviously plays a big part. A global pandemic played a big part (TV as a whole has been down). No live crowd plays a part. But what does NOT play a part in that? Another wrestling show on a different night.
Yeah everything?s down, which doesn?t make sense to me since more people are home. Sports? ratings are at all time lows.
1. Sports without a crowd gives a completely different vibe, one a lot of poeple don't feel is as good.
2. DVR makes people want to record a show and watch it later. Ratings may not reflect that yet.
3. There's about 39824 channels from your cable/satellite provider which dilutes the market.
4. There's about 9345987 streaming services that each have about 239783904875983475 different options to watch at your leisure completely diluted the market.
