Cody winning the title feels like perfect timing (7 years after he was fired, 3 years after the creation of AEW, 1 year after his Mania return and 3 MOTY candidates with Seth, becoming the #1 babyface in WWE after struggling to get cheered in AEW, overcoming a devastating injury that would keep him out just long enough to return at the Royal Rumble, winning the title to honor his father)
