Donk Dudley - the lost Dudley boy from the Outback. Eh? There's even a precedent there with Dudleys being an extended family.

You know my feelings on Dolph, but I’ll give this a legitimate go.
Considering the WWE hates last names for their characters, I’d go with the name Mortimer and give him an oblivious 50’ nerd gimmick. His voice would fit a geek character very well, and after all this time on the roster with no semblance of a real character, a very strong kayfabed character would be a breath of fresh air for the blandest guy in all of wrestling.

Dolph seems like he tries really hard to be Shawn Michaels, but with a hint of Billy Gunn.
Call him Shawn Gunn and turn him into an 80s action hero cliche.
Since he wants to be a comedian, give him the gimmick of doing stand-up comedy on the way to the ring, or maybe he can interrupt someone else's segment with a few jokes. He can then beat the shit out of whatever Superstars don't appreciate his comedy.

Joe Boring. Have him wrestle the least interesting match ever, then when the fans chant BORING he thinks they want to see more of it and he keeps going with the same style.
