I saw someone post this elsewhere, so I can't take credit; Corbin goes down with an "injury" or pulls out for some other reason or they do the match early, whatever. Angle turns it into an open challenge and ala his debut, Cena answers, defeating Angle as they call back to the match that sort of unofficial began the Ruthless Aggression era.
Angle vs Cena in 2019? Sign me up. Although the advertised match is Corbin vs Angle, I think WWE could put forth a better opponent for Angle's last match. Cena would be perfect. Interested to see where this ends up.
There are reports that WWE may change this match, at least according to Uncle Dave. The report states that they didn't expect such an overwhelmingly negative response to the announcement of Baron Corbin in this match and that they don't want Angle's final match to receive a negative reaction.
Hopefully this is true and they do change it. I mean...Baron Corbin is nothing but an energy killer for any card he's a part of and I honestly, truly, do not understand how WWE officials couldn't have expected such a hostile response from fans regarding this match. Does Vincent Kennedy McMahon truly and genuinely not even remotely pay attention to who and what the fans respond to? I know that we've all said it at times but, can he truly be that clueless? Fans don't like Corbin and I don't mean in a heelish way, I mean the man truly has go away heat on a level rarely seen. Even when fans booed the crap out of Roman Reigns, there was at least the underlying positive that Reigns could at least deliver entertaining matches but Corbin is one of these guys that some people very high up in the company see whereas nobody else does; he's just a notch or two above Jinder Mahal and one of the only saving graces regarding Corbin is that WWE hasn't given him any sort of major title run.
Replace Corbin, stick his ass in the mostly jobber or mid-card battle royal and call it a day. From an overall perspective, Angle has been one of the most entertaining guys to come along in the last 20 years; he may not be what he once was in the ring the last few years but his last match should be against someone of note rather than one of the least talented members of the roster.

Say what? They weren't expecting an overwhelmingly negative response after announcing Baron Corbin as his opponent?! GTFOH. Guy has been nothing but a negative response since 2016. Give us John Cena or literally anyone else, I'd take Fandango over Corbin.
Frank: Ludwig?!
Goon: Drebin!
Frank: Yeah, I'm Drebin!
Goon: I have a message for ya from Vincent Ludwig!
Goon: Take that, you lousy cop!
Frank: I'm sorry! I can't hear ya! Don't fire the gun while you're talking!

Hate to say this, but Baron's going to have to carry Kurt Angle to a passable match.
Kurt's TV performances have been sub-par but I think at WrestleMania he'll somehow manage to pull something out of the bag. He'll also spend the rest of his life in surgery, but he's got pride and he'll suck it up on the day.
