I think I preferred The First Movie. Because I was a child. Obviously.

Saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters last night and if you go to this movie expecting it to be exactly what it is and what it's supposed to be: a popcorn, summer blockbuster with fantastic special effects and epic scale creature fights, then you'll enjoy this movie.
I honestly don't understand why so many critics are panning this movie as it addresses and makes right the complaints they had with the first Godzilla movie: not enough action, takes too long to see the monsters and too much focus on the human characters. Now, they're complaining because it has too much action and too many monster fights, is too loud, etc., which is beyond idiotic because it's a fucking Godzilla movie for Christ's sake!! The hell did they expect, that Godzilla and Ghidorah to start quoting the works of Shakespeare or Faulkner or debating the philosophy of Nietzschewhile sharing a pot of Earl Grey in-between rumbles?
Considering that it's a Godzilla movie, it's much better really than it has any right to be. The title of the movie itself pretty much already gives away the ending, which was never really in doubt, which is okay with me because this is the sort of movie that you don't watch if you're looking to take something serious and become immersed in unforgettable acting performances with a deep story. I gave it ***1/2 stars, just a good popcorn movie.

It's wank.

Surprised to see John Wick so high. I love the movies, but the third might be my least favorite. Maybe I need to watch it again. I have one major gripe I wonâ??t discuss here yet, since itâ??s pretty new.
It's a very high 3/very low 4 for me. I enjoyed it considerably more than the 2nd. My main gripe is the same I have with most films, it's too long.
I enjoyed Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It was better than it had any right to be. It's simple, if you're a Kaiju fan or Godzilla fan or even just a fan of Japanese media; you're going to like it. If you're looking for deep thoughts on the human condition and for Godzilla to be a metaphor on global warming or nuclear power and for Oscar worthy performances; then don't watch it.

I'm deeply, deeply relieved that there's still no such thing as a bad Toy Story movie.
I'm told the new X-Men and Godzilla films are bad so I'm not going to watch them.
1 star and two bad respectively

Beats is the Scottish film not the Anthony Anderson film that dropped on Netflix last week.
Gloria Bell made me feel something.
The Child's Play reboot is a ton of fun, and so is Ma.
I was promised oodles of semen in High Life and, for me, it failed to deliver.
