Last night's opening on Raw saw the creation of this bout: a mixed tag team match in which Rollins' & Lynch's Universal and Raw Women's Championships are both on the line against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans. The stipulation of the match is that if Rollins and Lynch win, they move on from Corbin and Evans.

WWE could very easily deal themselves a double whammy if the heels win this match. Baron Corbin is almost universally reviled among fans, and not in the "good" way a heel is supposed to be while Evans has only wrestled a handful of times on the main roster on TV or PPVs. Evans isn't ready to be Women's Champion and most don't feel Corbin has the necessary goods to be a main event champion. Rollins and Lynch are two over babyface champs that the fans are behind. Sure, Becky has cooled off some but how on earth could she not? She goes from feuding with Ronda Rousey, one of the most famous athletes of any gender this decade and someone who legitimately put on some of the most entertaining matches in WWE over the course of 12 months or so, and her old rival Charlotte Flair to feuding with a legitimately green NXT call up who probably hasn't had a dozen televised matches on WWE television or PPVs and obviously needs more seasoning.

Both Rollins and Lynch should be moved on as champions while Corbin and Evans are in spots more suited to their talents.
