I know it's early, BUT,
- I hate cheering Auburn, but I do need them to beat Georgia.
- UCLA needs to play the game of their lives to beat Utah.
- In a game I really shouldn't care about but, Iowa needs to beat Minnesota.
- Of course my Sooners need to stay at the task at hand and beat Baylor.
That would make a great Saturday!
Easy sir, I like your Crimson Tide. I need to look forward for my Sooners.
Besides, Tennessee is your real rival, do not let recency bias deflect you.
Plus, I'm on your side. We both hate teams that wear Orange.
Roll Tide sir, but Boomer Sooner.
If you're a Sooners fan, you don't need Auburn to beat Georgia, you need Auburn to beat Alabama. LSU can take care of Georgia.
Oregon and Utah will play each other in the Pac-12 championship game (assuming status quo), so at least one of them will be knocked out there. If the committee has to decide between Big 12 champion Oklahoma and a Pac 12 champion, I would like my odds as a Sooners fan.
I like the underdog Minnesota story, but they are not beating Ohio State in the Big 10 championship game. If Oklahoma wins out and is Big 12 champion, they are in over Minnesota.
Barring an epic collapse, LSU and Ohio State are likely in the playoff, even if they lose in their conference championship games. It is unlikely anyone in the ACC is beating Clemson. So a Sooners fan needs a lot of help, but there is a reasonable path to a playoff beatdown by LSU .
Dear God please let Arkansas hire Butch Jones
Myles Garrett should be suspended for at least the rest of the season. One of the most embarrassing things I've seen watching football.
Bet he's learning the difference between consensual and nonconsensual brain damage.
